The producers of Roofing systems in Ghana are calling on government to review the country’s import duty.
According to the Chief Executive officer (CEO) of Rosa roofing systems, Mr Prince Elo Hope said the woes of local businesses has increased due to the high cost of import duty.
He warned that cost of goods on the market will increase further if nothing is done about the situation.
The concern follows the three new taxes include Income Tax (Amendment) Bill, Excise Duty and Excise Tax Stamp (Amendment) Bills and the Growth and Sustainability Levy Bill.
