Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), exudes unwavering belief in his ability to steer his party to triumph in the upcoming December 7 general elections.
Addressing a crowd at a rally in Ketu North in the Volta Region, Bawumia emphasized the accomplishments of the NPP government as key reasons for his anticipated victory against his main opponent, former President John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the NDC.
Speaking to a crowd filled with excitement, Bawumia highlighted the achievements of the NPP during President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s leadership and his own time as Vice President, claiming that their accomplishments exceed those of Mahama’s past government.
Touring more than 200 constituencies across Ghana, Bawumia expressed his confidence in the NPP’s chances, telling supporters that the party’s achievements are widely recognized and will lead to success.
Touring over 200 constituencies in Ghana has provided me with valuable insights. From what I have witnessed, I am confident that we are on track to win this election. The results of the election will be announced by midnight on December, revealing that NPP is the winner.
Bawumia’s visit to the Volta Region, known as the World Bank of the NDC, was a key component of his campaign strategy to expand the NPP’s support and gain votes in regions where the party has historically been less influential.
Throughout his campaign, Bawumia has continuously highlighted the NPP’s accomplishments in government as a significant differentiator between his party and the NDC. In his opinion, he highlighted several policy achievements that showcase the NPP’s excellent governance and dedication to enhancing the well-being of Ghanaians.
