President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced the appointment of Mr. Herbert Krapa has been appointed as the new Minister for Energy, starting on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.
The President mentioned that Mr. Krapa, who has been in the role of Minister of State at the Ministry of Energy since July 15, 2024, is recognized for his outstanding dedication, professionalism, and unwavering focus on fulfilling his duties.
The President believes that these qualities have played a major role in advancing and maintaining stability in Ghana’s energy sector.
Eugene Arhin, the Director of Communications at the Jubilee House, released a statement in which President Akufo-Addo praised Mr. Krapa was recognized for his exceptional leadership and dedication, with colleagues expressing full confidence in his capacity to succeed in his new position.
The President added that Mr. would be a key focus in the upcoming discussions. Krapa’s appointment will help drive growth and transformation in Ghana’s energy sector, ultimately benefiting the nation.
