Charles Kipo has been designated by President John Dramani Mahama as the new Director-General of the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB).

In related security appointments, Prosper Douglas Bani has been appointed as the National Security Advisor.

DCOP Abdul-Osman Razak has been appointed as the National Security Coordinator, with the responsibility of ensuring a unified and strategic approach to the nation’s security efforts.
In a statement issued by Felix Ofosu Kwakye, the acting Spokesperson for the President, COP Nathan Kofi Boakye (Rtd.) has also been appointed as the Director of Operations at the Presidency, where he will oversee the effectiveness of security operations. COP Boakye is well-regarded for his extensive service and operational expertise.
