Several clubs in the Saudi Pro League have shown interest in acquiring Mohammed Kudus as the summer transfer window approaches.
Kudus has faced a difficult season, managing to score only three goals for West Ham United, a stark contrast to his remarkable debut season last year when he found the net 20 times across all competitions.
Despite his recent struggles, Saudi clubs have made inquiries regarding the availability of the Ghanaian forward. Reports suggest that Kudus has a release clause set at £85 million, with Saudi teams reportedly prepared to offer more than that figure.
However, no official agreement has been finalized, as Kudus is still contracted with West Ham until 2028.
In addition to interest from Saudi Arabia, the 24-year-old has also been linked to a potential transfer to Liverpool and other prominent European clubs as the summer transfer window nears.
In the meantime, Kudus missed West Ham’s 1-0 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux on Tuesday due to an injury sustained during training. The club has not provided details on the severity of the injury, but it was significant enough to prevent him from participating in the match.
