Kim Lars Björkegren has announced a 23-player roster for the Black Queens’ forthcoming training tour in Senegal, which is set to take place from April 1 to April 9, 2025.
The tour will include rigorous training sessions and two international friendly matches against Senegal’s Teranga Lionesses in Dakar.
The squad has been bolstered by the return of midfielders Ernestina Abambilla and Patience Peterson-Kundok, defender Phillicity Asuako, and forward Princess Owusu, all of whom are rejoining the team after a short hiatus.
Grace Buoduwa Banwaa, the goalkeeper for Hasaacas Ladies and widely regarded as the most reliable goalkeeper in the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League this season, has received her first call-up.
Having kept 12 clean sheets and allowed only one goal in 15 matches, Banwaa has secured her place in the latest Black Queens lineup.
This tour is a vital component of Ghana’s preparations for the upcoming WAFCON tournament, as the team strives for success.
