Junior Achievement Africa (JA Africa), in collaboration with the global aerospace leader Boeing, has officially introduced two flagship programs in Nigeria and Togo designed to empower youth with skills in science, technology, and entrepreneurship.
These initiatives aim to provide African youth with essential, future-oriented skills to foster economic growth, self-employment, and innovation throughout the continent.
In Nigeria, 500 secondary school girls have been enrolled in the newly launched Girls STEMpreneurship Programme, which offers practical training in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
This program features innovation camps that focus on developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and business development skills, with top teams receiving seed funding to turn their ideas into viable businesses.
In Togo, 600 senior secondary students have participated in the Company Program, JA Africa’s leading entrepreneurship curriculum, where they will learn to create and manage startups, emphasizing solutions to environmental challenges through sustainable business practices.
