The Electoral Commission (EC) has revealed that the 2024 Provisional Voter Register will be available for online re-exhibition starting on Tuesday, October 15 and ending on Sunday, October 19, 2024.
During the Special IPAC meeting on October 1, the Electoral Commission (EC) assured that it would re-display the updated Provisional Voter Register (PVR) on its website.
Registered voters can now verify their details and report any inconsistencies to the Commission for necessary corrections, in response to issues raised by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The online re-exhibition is designed to streamline the voting process for the 2024 General Elections.
On Monday, October 14, the EC issued a statement informing the General Public, Registered Voters, and all Stakeholders that the Re-Exhibition of the Provisional Voters Register (PVR) will take place from Tuesday, October 15 to Saturday, October 19, 2024.
Starting on Tuesday, October 15, eligible voters will have the ability to verify their information at no cost by dialling the short code *711*51# .
Voters are able to verify their information on the EC website by visiting: https://ec.gov.gh.
Voters are encouraged to locate the pop-up link at the bottom-right corner of the screen and input their 10-digit Voter ID number in order to access their voter registration information.
The public was urged by the EC to report any discrepancies they found to its District Office for corrections.
It is important for the public to report any discrepancies identified to the District Office of the Commission where they are registered voters for correction. After the Re-Exhibition Exercise concludes on Saturday, October 19th, voters will still have the option to verify their information online, but will not be able to make any changes to their details.
During the re-exhibition period, political parties were encouraged to utilize the provided Template to report any discrepancies that they had identified.
