The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has rescinded its decision to increase the Fuel Marking Margin (FMM) to 9 pesewas from 4 pesewas.
Earlier, the NPA had directed all Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) to implement and apply the new rates in their Price Build-Ups (PBUS) effective Saturday, 16 April 2023.
The NPA in a statement said the FMM will remain GHp 4.00/Lt until further notice.
“We wish to hereby withdraw the increment and Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused,” the statement added.
