Mahama plans to establish a committee to evaluate the educational sector in Ghana

President John Dramani Mahama has revealed intentions to form a National Education Reform Committee tasked with conducting a thorough evaluation of Ghana’s educational framework.

This evaluation will span all educational tiers, from primary to higher education, with the aim of fortifying the nation’s educational landscape and meeting its dynamic requirements.

During his address at the National Convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission Ghana in Winneba on Thursday, January 9, President Mahama underscored the necessity of reforms to improve both the quality and accessibility of education in Ghana.

“I will establish a planning committee to initiate the National Education Review Conference that I pledged. This conference will assess our educational system from kindergarten through primary, secondary, and tertiary levels, including technical and vocational education, to identify the obstacles to achieving quality education at each stage of our educational system.”
