Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is optimistic about the party’s chances of winning the December 7th election due to the NPP’s successful track record and accomplishments while in government.
While addressing a crowd in Oforikrom in the Ashanti Region, Dr Bawumia emphasized a number of key initiatives implemented by the NPP that he believes have greatly benefited the people of Ghana.
He highlighted the Free Senior High School (Free SHS) policy as a significant achievement, enabling numerous students to afford secondary education. He also commended various other social intervention programs that assist low-income families and combat poverty.
He also cited the success of the Planting for Food and Jobs initiative, the One District, One Factory policy, and several digitalization reforms as key factors in the economy’s growth, job creation, and overall economic development.
He believes that the NPP’s proactive governance approach shows its dedication to the well-being of Ghanaians, making it stand out as the top party to lead the country.
Dr. Bawumia urged Ghanaians to back the NPP, stressing the importance of staying on the course of advancement and growth that he feels only the NPP is capable of delivering.
He also pledged to the audience that if NPP emerged victorious, there would be additional progress in infrastructure, healthcare, and education.
