The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has reiterated its dedication to leveraging its success in the December 7 general elections as a means to advance Ghana towards development and prosperity.
In a press conference conducted at the party’s headquarters on Sunday, December 8, the NDC’s General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, emphasized the party’s commitment to responsibly serving the nation with the mandate it has recently obtained.
During his remarks, Fifi Kwetey called upon the Electoral Commission (EC) and its Chairperson, Jean Mensa, to ensure that the announcement of results is not subjected to unnecessary delays.
Expressing the party’s confidence in the electoral results, Fifi Kwetey declared that the NDC’s victory was both significant and indisputable.
“We have achieved a substantial majority, which we intend to utilize responsibly for the advancement of the Ghanaian populace.
“Regarding the presidential results, we urge the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Jean Mensa, and her team to ensure that the declaration is not postponed without cause, as we are fully aware that the outcome is already secured.”
