The leadership of the National Lottery Authority (NLA) has conducted a working visit to Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL), recognized as one of Jamaica’s largest and most distinguished enterprises.
The visiting delegation included the Authority’s Board Chairman and Technical Advisor to the Minister of Finance, Mr. Frederick Amissah, the Acting Director-General of NLA, Mr. Mohammed Abdul-Salam, and Board Member, Nana Obrempong Ameyaw Amponsem.
SVL organized the visit to enhance international cooperation and investigate strategic partnerships between the two organizations. The delegation was welcomed by the Jamaican Minister of State in the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce, Delano Seiveright, along with the leadership team of SVL.
The discussions centered on business-to-business collaborations, opportunities for market expansion, digital innovation, and growth driven by investment, all aimed at promoting sustainable development and mutual advantages for both entities.
Delano Seiveright remarked, “It was an absolute honour to meet the officials from the Ghana National Lottery Authority, where we engaged in comprehensive discussions regarding their visit to Jamaica. We are very eager to continue strengthening the Jamaica–Ghana connection, and I commend Supreme Ventures for its active involvement in Ghana’s lottery sector. We aspire to see more of this as we progress.”
Mr. Frederick Amissah, the Board Chairman of NLA, expressed gratitude to the SVL team for their hospitality during the visit and highlighted the significance of enhancing bilateral relations. “We aim to advance the Ghana – Jamaica relationship further and establish historical connections and business-to-business partnerships to propel both nations forward,” he stated.
The engagement illustrates an increasing interest in enhancing international partnerships and facilitating knowledge exchange between Ghana and Jamaica. After fruitful discussions and high-level interactions, the visit is set to establish a robust foundation for future collaboration that will encourage innovation, draw investment, and support mutual development for both nations.
