The Adenta Circuit Court has approved bail for Salomey Awiti Baffoe in the amount of GH¢100,000, contingent upon the provision of two sureties who must both be civil servants with monthly earnings of no less than GH¢3,000.
Salomey Awiti Baffoe is appearing before the court in connection with allegations that she acted as an accomplice to the prominent Ghanaian TikToker known as Ghana Jollof.
During the court proceedings, she was represented by Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, who characterized the court’s decision to grant bail as a positive outcome.
Salomey Awiti Baffoe was taken into custody on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at her residence located in Hansua, situated near Techiman in the Bono East Region.
The matter gained considerable public attention following reports concerning the late-night apprehension of Salomey Awiti Baffoe, a 40-year-old woman with three children residing in Hansua within the Techiman Municipality.
According to available information, three individuals claiming to represent the National Security agency arrived at her residence at approximately 11:30 p.m. on September 13 and allegedly removed her from the premises.
Following this incident, her family encountered significant difficulties in determining her location, while both the Bono East Regional Police Command and Regional National Security authorities reportedly stated they possessed no documentation of the operation in question.
