Ghana’s path to economic recovery will be difficult; however, we will be guided by divine support, according to Mahama

Ghana’s President-elect, John Dramani Mahama, has recognized the significant economic difficulties confronting the nation and the considerable effort necessary to restore its prosperity.

During a thanksgiving service at the Assemblies of God Church in Accra on Sunday, Mahama underscored the scale of the challenges ahead, reaffirming his dedication to addressing the economic crisis directly.

He also stressed the necessity of seeking divine guidance and wisdom to effectively navigate the obstacles facing the country.

“I can confirm that our nation is currently experiencing a profound economic crisis, and substantial work will be required to recover. Restoring our economic prosperity will be a formidable challenge, but I pray that the God who entrusted me with this responsibility will provide me with the strength and wisdom to manage it.

“I ask for God’s discernment and wisdom to select the right individuals who will act in the best interests of the people of Ghana,” Mahama remarked.

Additionally, Mahama conveyed his steadfast belief in God’s favor upon the nation, assuring Ghanaians that they will not be abandoned.

“God’s favor remains upon our beloved country Ghana, and I am confident that He will not forsake us,” Mahama affirmed.
