Parliamentary Candidate for NPP in the Dome Kwabenya Constituency, Mike Oquaye Jnr. has appealed to constituents to vote for the party during the December 7 election to continue its development initiatives geared towards transforming the area.
He explained that with the current state of development and initiatives put in place by the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo-led government, voting for NPP would ensure continuity and the introduction of many more of such good policies and initiatives that are gradually changing the standard of living of the people.
He made this known during an interview with Dr. Frank Brefo Fukenburg on the Ghana Beyeyie show this morning on Vision1 93.5FM.
Mike Oquaye Jnr reassured residents whose areas have not received projects to not be worried as ongoing projects are in the pipeline.
Mike Oquaye Jnr. highlighted the achievements of the NPP government, asserting that despite challenges, including the impact of COVID-19, the party has delivered significant progress at a time when there is a world economic crisis with high costs of living even in the UK and USA.
“Today we are alive, and the economy is rising,” he noted, referring to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s resilience in revitalizing the economy.
Mr. Oquaye Jnr noted that his healthcare policy focuses on upgrading existing facilities, enhancing personnel quarters, and promoting community health initiatives.
He aims to upgrade the Abokobi Health Centre into a full-fledged polyclinic, construct dedicated quarters for doctors and nurses, and enhance security at the health centre.
Oquaye Jnr’s sanitation policy prioritises clean water access and waste management.
He plans to implement borehole projects, enhance sanitation through the ‘Toilet for All’ project and donate water pumps.
Mr. Oquaye Jnr’s infrastructure policy focuses on upgrading road networks, promoting industrial growth, and developing market facilities.
He aims to upgrade and maintain roads, promote industrial growth through the One District One Factory (1D1F) initiative, and develop and expand market facilities.
