Cynthia Morrison, Agona West’s Member of Parliament, has officially stated her desire to run as an independent candidate in the 2024 parliamentary elections.
During a recent encounter with her constituents, the former Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection underlined her commitment to the development of Agona.
This move comes after she was defeated in the NPP parliamentary primary on April 13, with 152 votes, against Christopher Arthur’s 240 votes.
Despite the outcome, Cynthia Morrison remains committed to her constituency and has urged citizens to back her independent candidature.
