The founder of Messiah Is Alive Chapel Int. in the Greater Accra Region has described as worrying the threat of spousal murder cases recorded in the country in recent times.

The man of God stated that within a period of three months, the country has recorded many cases of that incident, saying it was so abhorring and wondered why lovers turned to become enemies who could not settle their issues but ended up killing themselves.

The founder of Messiah Is Alive Chapel Int, Prophet Ben Hill Asante together with other Men and women of God called on chiefs, Queen Mothers and security agencies to express their concern on the menace when he addressed the media today.

He urged women in Ghana to report any spousal threat to the Ghana Police Service for immediate intervention.

He said couples and partners even forgot that they had ever expressed love for each other but all they could do was to destroy their lives.

Prophet Ben Hill Asante said the saddest aspect of the situation was where the man killing his partner and for fear of being arrested to face prosecution also commit suicide without thinking about the welfare of the children they were leaving behind.

The Man of God is also questioning the Gender ministry and the Ghana Girl Guides Association as a stakeholder on their eminent measures put in place to curb the menace.

Prophet Ben Hill Asante therefore appealed to residents in the regions, particularly couples to assist the efforts of religious leaders, Security agencies and other stakeholders to maintain the prevailing peace in the country to pave way for holistic and accelerated progress.
