NCA Awards 2020: Vision1 93.5FM’s Maame Afia Nyarkoah adjudged Best Female Newscaster of the Year

Vision1 93.5 FM’s Maame Afia Nyarkoah has been adjudged Best Female Newscaster of the Year (Greater Accra) at last year’s National Communication’s Awards held at the African Trade House, 14th November, 2020.

Maame Afia Nyarkoah is a Ghanaian broadcast journalist and news presenter who currently works as an Akan Newscaster at Vision1 FM.

Maame Afia Nyarkoah acquired her knowledge in media at Global Multimedia College in 2013.

She started her Journalism Journey at Apollo FM in the Western Region in Apollo FM (2015) and then later moved to Destiny Radio in Accra (2018).

Maame Afia Nyarkoah currently works as an Akan Newscaster with Vision1 FM (Accra FM).

Maame Afia Nyarkoah saw off competition from the likes of Kofi Adomah (Angel FM), Ama Sarpong Kumakumah (Peace FM), Pomaa Kyekyeku (Kasapa FM), Nana Ansah Barimah (Plan B FM) to win the prestigious award on the night.

The awards gala saw lots of media personalities honored for excelling in their respective broadcasting fields.

Vision 1 FM’s News bulletin airs every Monday to Sunday.
