Technical Advisor to the Minister of Interior, COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah, is scheduled to speak at the United Nations Headquarters in New York during the 17th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70), which will be held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The high-level panel discussion, themed “From Commitment to Capability – Women Police Leaders Advancing Peace, Protection, and Partnership in UN Contexts,” aims to emphasize the leadership roles of women in policing and their significant contributions to peacebuilding, community protection, and the enhancement of partnerships within UN contexts.
This event, sponsored by the Ministry of Interior of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), will leverage the expertise of senior female police officers and other stakeholders regarding peacebuilding in UN contexts.
The seventieth session of the Commission on the Status of Women – CSW70 (2026) – is set to occur at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from March 9 to March 19, 2026.
Attendees will include representatives from Member States, UN entities, and ECOSOC-accredited non-governmental organizations (NGOs) from across the globe who are invited to participate in the session.
