The Minister of Energy and Green Transition, Dr. John Jinapor, has conducted a thorough review of the 2025 performance of the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation (PHDC) and is working to align priorities for 2026.
He indicated that this engagement is part of his Ministry’s strategic plan.
The discussion aimed at enhancing execution, unlocking new opportunities, and positioning the Corporation to provide greater value throughout the energy value chain.
Dr. Jinapor emphasized that the Petroleum Hub Development Corporation is pivotal to the government’s investment initiatives in the energy sector, acting as a vital catalyst for infrastructure development, private sector involvement, and long-term energy security.
“As we look forward, our emphasis is on bolstering investor confidence and expediting projects that will revolutionize our energy landscape, generate employment, and foster sustainable economic growth,” the Yapei Kusawgu lawmaker posted on Facebook following the meeting.
The hub represents a revolutionary megaproject in the Jomoro district of the Western Nzema Area. The PHub, designed to be a premier integrated petroleum complex, is a significant advancement in adding value to the upstream and downstream oil and gas value chain across the African continent.
