Coach Annor Walker Passes Away, Ghana Football Community Grieves

Ghana’s football fraternity is in mourning following the death of veteran coach Annor Walker, a respected figure known for his work with Accra Great Olympics and other clubs.
Walker, who also coached Ghana’s Black Galaxies, passed away after a reported period of illness. His leadership, discipline, and tactical knowledge left a lasting mark on local football, especially during his time guiding Great Olympics to impressive league performances.
Tributes have poured in from clubs, players, and fans across the country, with many praising his commitment to player development and grassroots football.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has expressed its condolences to his family, calling him “a true servant of the game.”
Funeral arrangements are yet to be announced.
