President John Dramani Mahama has sanctioned the appointment of Alex Segbefia as the Chief of Staff to the Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.
This appointment, which was made public on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, is intended to enhance governance and policy coordination within the Office of the Vice President, aligning with the government’s Resetting Ghana initiative.
Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Acting Spokesperson for the President, verified the appointments through an official statement, underscoring the administration’s dedication to fostering a better Ghana through effective leadership.
In addition to Mr. Segbefia, Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, the former National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has been appointed as Policy Advisor to the Vice President.
These appointments illustrate the administration’s commitment to utilizing experienced professionals to promote efficient governance and ensure the successful execution of critical policies.
