Richmond Mensah, a prominent figure within the New Patriotic Party in Milton Keynes, has formally announced his intention to run for the position of Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), UK Branch, vowing to provide transparent, honest, and results-driven leadership.
In making his announcement, Mr. Mensah stated: “My decision is rooted in my extensive years of dedicated service to the party and a solid track record of commitment both in Ghana and internationally.”
During his address at the Luton Chapter meeting, the prospective chairman stressed that leadership should be founded on demonstrated service, a strong record, and integrity, rather than mere promises.
He asserted that his long-term engagement in party activities at various levels equips him well to lead the UK branch during this pivotal period.
Richmond Mensah also highlighted the importance of party unity as a crucial factor for success in the upcoming 2028 elections.
“In all of these, we must come together as a party behind the flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. Only through unity can we regain power. If elected chairman, I will champion the unity agenda in this branch.”
He further committed to being loyal to party members and to working diligently within his capacity to foster the growth and success of the NPP UK Branch.
Mr. Mensah reiterated his dedication to honesty and straightforward leadership, identifying himself as a man of integrity.
“I urge delegates and members of the NPP UK Branch to support my candidacy,” Mr. Mensah concluded with a heartfelt appeal.
