President John Dramani Mahama has conveyed sincere Mother’s Day greetings to mothers throughout Ghana, particularly acknowledging his Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang.
In a Facebook update on Sunday, May 11, President Mahama revealed that he had visited Professor Opoku-Agyemang earlier that day, characterizing the visit as a significant gesture.
He stated, ‘I extend a special Mother’s Day greeting to my Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, whom I had the honor of visiting this morning.’
The President noted that the Vice President is currently enjoying a well-deserved rest after a recent health issue and is anticipated to resume her official responsibilities shortly.
‘To her and to all mothers in Ghana, I wish a Happy Mother’s Day,’ he concluded.
