Rapper Freda Rhymz is resolute in her quest to reestablish herself as one of the leading figures in Ghana’s music industry.
In a recent interview with Okay FM, she candidly discussed her hiatus, recognizing the effect it had on her career trajectory. Freda revealed that her unexpected absence was primarily due to challenges associated with her departure from a record label.
“I had limited options. I required time to address various issues and regain my creative flow. The journey was lengthy; I had to be patient, resolve everything, and return with renewed strength,” she stated.
Her last significant release, “Don’t Kiss Me,” which came out in 2022, represented a brief effort to make a comeback. Additionally, she ignited a notable feud with Sista Afia, which created some buzz for a time.
However, as the initial excitement faded, so did Freda’s visibility in the industry, leaving her fans questioning the reasons behind her absence.
Now, with a revitalized spirit, Freda Rhymz is back, more committed than ever to resume her journey and reclaim her position in the music scene.
