Family, friends, and dignitaries have convened at the home of the late former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, to participate in a one-week commemoration in her memory.
This solemn occasion signifies precisely one week since her demise on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Ridge Hospital in Accra.
Nana Konadu, the spouse of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings and the founder of the 31st December Women’s Movement, is fondly remembered for her unwavering dedication to women’s empowerment, social justice, and national development.
During the observance, political leaders, representatives from civil society, and members of the public came together with the Rawlings family to express their condolences. Tributes underscored her lasting legacy of activism, leadership, and service to Ghana.
