Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the former Vice President and the 2024 candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has reassured supporters that the party has gleaned significant insights from recent events and is committed to implementing necessary changes.
During the NPP’s ongoing Thank You Tour, Dr. Bawumia conveyed his confidence in the party’s capacity to restore trust and re-establish connections with the Ghanaian populace in anticipation of the upcoming elections.
‘As a party, we have absorbed our lessons, and we will rectify our course,’ Dr. Bawumia remarked to an assembly of party members and community leaders.
He underscored the NPP’s dedication to its fundamental principles and its relentless effort to address the electorate’s concerns.
He noted that recognizing previous failures is the initial step towards rejuvenation and advancement. The Thank You Tour, which has seen the NPP leadership traverse various regions of the nation, aims to express appreciation to party members and supporters for their steadfast dedication during the 2024 general elections.
