ADWOA SAFO TO CONTEST DOME KWABENYA SEAT AGAIN – video/ audio
The incumbent Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya constituency on the ticket of the NPP has declared her intention to contest the parliamentary primaries ahead of the 2024 general elections.
She made this confirmation when she invited some polling station organizers to her residents at Kwabenya.
The MP whiles addressing the constituency executives stated that the year 2022 was a tragic year to her and her family.
Lawyer Sarah Adwoa Safo said “I lost my 9 months pregnancy after which my first son nearly became disabled by not walking again. So, I went through a lot in my life but God on my side, I’m blessed. I am back and I will work for you and Ghana as a sitting MP and will context the elections as MP again”
The MP explained that she has a ‘social contract’ with the people of Dome Kwabenya and will continue to serve their interest in Parliament.
Hon. Sarah Adwoa Safo added that she will continue to engage the constituency executives’ group by group.
The MP has been living in the US this past year and requested for leave of absence in 2021 from her then-ministerial post as the Minister of Gender, Children, and Social Protection.
Spokesperson who is also the chief of Staff for the MP and doubles as the Ga East Municipal National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), Seth Kofi Osei-Kissi has been speaking to the media.
