The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has laid out several requirements that the party believes must be addressed before signing the Peace Pact supported by the National Peace Council in advance of the December 7 elections.

The National Chairman of the NDC Johnson Asiedu Nketia, , expressed doubts about the effectiveness of previous Peace Pacts, pointing out that they had not achieved their intended outcomes, particularly in light of the 2020 elections, during which eight NDC members were allegedly killed by national security operatives without being held accountable.
Johnson Asiedu Nketia discussed the fundamentals for the NDC’s involvement in the Peace Pact at a meeting with the National Peace Council yesterday at the NDC headquarters.
