Kwabenya Tragedy: Family Seeks Justice for Slain Okada Rider
The family of the slain okada rider, who was found dead with his throat slit at Kwabenya Comet in Accra on September 6, is calling for justice.
The killing, which residents described as yet another shocking act of violence in the area, has heightened fear within the community.

The family is calling for justice, the sorrow in the family’s home is overwhelming, and relatives are not only mourning but also demanding justice.
Speaking to Vision 1 news, father of the deceased Gideon Torgbi Kponegbah appealed to the government to intervene. “We’re appealing to the government to ensure justice is served,” he said.
The gruesome killing comes just months after an immigration officer, Stephen Amoah, was murdered under similar circumstances in the same community—a trend that has heightened fear and insecurity among locals.
