The 3rd Session of the Ghana-Israel Political Dialogue took place in Jerusalem on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, James Gyakye Quayson, headed Ghana’s delegation. The dialogue was co-chaired by Her Excellency Sharren Haskel, the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel.
This dialogue served as a high-level forum for both nations to discuss issues of mutual interest, such as diplomatic cooperation, trade and investment, security, innovation, agriculture, and capacity-building initiatives.
The discussions highlighted the enduring friendly relations between Ghana and Israel, along with a shared commitment to enhancing collaboration for mutual benefit.
The Ghanaian delegation emphasized Ghana’s priorities and potential for partnership, while both parties expressed contentment with the advancements made since the last political dialogue and agreed to maintain regular consultations.
