Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) have successfully rescued a four-bedroom residence from a fire incident in Asamankese.
The emergency response team acted promptly to control the fire, which had completely engulfed the house and posed a serious risk to three adjacent properties.
Initial investigations suggest that the fire originated from an electrical malfunction. The fire crew swiftly disconnected the power supply to prevent further escalation and utilized fire hoses to manage the flames.
The team took two hours to completely extinguish the fire. Fortunately, there were no reported casualties or injuries.
The GNFS has advised residents to exercise caution with electrical installations and to report any fire incidents immediately to facilitate rapid emergency response.
