The Christian Council of Ghana, in collaboration with the Registrar General’s Department, has officially launched the 2025 Christian Home Week Celebrations.
The launch was held at the the head office of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Church House, Kukua Hill, Osu, in Accra under the theme “Celebrating Marriage the Right and Meaningful Way”.
In his address, the member of parliament for Okaikwei Central Hon Patrick Yaw Boamah who was the Ambassador for the 2025 Christian Home Week celebrations stated that Marriage is more than just a ceremony or legal contract.
It is a life-long commitment built on love, submission, mutual sacrifice, unity and respect.He said he firmly believes that when we honour marriage as ordained by God, we build strong family institutions.
In his conclusion ,the lawmaker stated that a thriving nation begins with thriving homes.

The General Secretary of the Christian Council of Ghana, Reverend Dr C.K.G Fayose, said the launch marked a significant milestone in the life of the CCG.
He noted that the celebration aims to reaffirm God’s divine purpose for marriage, provide biblical teachings and practical tools for healthy Christian families, and promote unity among member churches.
Special Guest of Honour, Mrs Fati Alabo, called on church leaders to teach everyone about marriage preparations.
She said marriage is an institution that God created and ought to be celebrated with Christ as the centre of the marriage.
