C/R: 25-Year-Old Boy Arrested for Allegedly Poisoning Girlfriend at Papaase
A 25-year-old man, identified as Kwame Whisky, has been arrested by the Kasoa Ofankor District Police Command for allegedly poisoning his 21-year-old girlfriend, Linda.
According to reports, Linda visited Kwame at his residence on Thursday and consumed food prepared by him. Tragically, she was found lifeless with foam coming out of her mouth on Kwame’s bed the following morning.
Sources close to the family reveal that the couple had a two-year-old child together. After discovering Linda’s lifeless body, Kwame reportedly went to the police station and was subsequently arrested.
Nana Kwaw Abbey-Quaye, the Chief of Papaase Number 1 and a family member of the deceased, confirmed that Linda’s body has been taken to the police mortuary for preservation and further investigation. Kwame remains in police custody at Ofankor.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding Linda’s death is ongoing.
