Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson has described the 2025 budget as a transformative strategy aimed at addressing Ghana’s socioeconomic challenges and restoring the country’s former prestige.
In his address to Parliament on Tuesday, Forson emphasized the budget’s focus on innovative solutions and its commitment to enhancing the lives of all Ghanaians.
“This budget prioritizes the needs of the people and incorporates innovative strategies to tackle our persistent socioeconomic issues,” Forson stated.
He outlined several key initiatives, including measures to address economic difficulties, promote business development, and establish a 24-hour economy to create opportunities and jobs for citizens.
Forson also highlighted the budget’s allocations for vulnerable and impoverished individuals, underscoring its inclusive nature.
