In a statement released on Wednesday, December 11, the president’s office underscored that no official vehicle shall be obtained by any appointee of the current administration.

This requirement is applicable to all Ministers of State, Deputy Ministers, Regional Ministers, Special Assistants, Special Aides to the President and Vice President, as well as other political appointees, including those serving as Chairpersons or Members of Statutory Boards and Corporations.

All government vehicles are to be returned to the Chief Director of the respective Ministries by the designated date.
