The National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary seat, John Setor Dumelo, has conveyed a positive outlook regarding his prospects in the upcoming elections scheduled for December 7. His comments were made as the Special Voting process began on Monday, December 2, at the Legon Police Station located within the constituency.
This initiative permits eligible voters, including election officials, security personnel, and media representatives engaged in election-related duties, to cast their votes prior to the general elections. In an interview, Dumelo expressed his contentment with the orderly execution of the voting process and reaffirmed his belief in achieving success once the final results are announced.
“My expectations are high. We are confident that we will emerge victorious in the end. We learned from our mistakes in 2020 and have made the necessary corrections. We have identified our opponent’s vulnerabilities, which we are leveraging as our advantage. On December 7, just a few days away, we are certain that victory will be ours. We are fully prepared for success.”
