As of today, Tuesday, October 15, 2024, the Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana has introduced a new online tool for voters to confirm their information on the provisional register in preparation for the upcoming 2024 General Elections.
This online display will be available for viewing until October 19, 2024, on Saturday.
Voters can access the online exhibition by using the free shortcode *71151# or visiting the EC’s official website. Here, they can verify their registration information by entering their 10-digit Voter ID.
Any discrepancies that are discovered may be reported to the District Office where voters are registered, however, adjustments can solely be made during the exhibition period.
The EC stressed that online verification will only be possible after the exhibition period ends, with no option for corrections available. This initiative is one of many efforts by the Commission to guarantee a precise and clear voter roll before the final compilation for the elections.
