When CSOs pick issues up to discuss, those in academia would ask, “what qualification do you have?”Now you are calling on us to help you stop the Politically-centered Public University Bill (PUB). CSOs have dissected and stopped uncountable stupid policies that stifle prosperity. Now you are running to the Supreme Court. You have the qualifications now so deal with it. I know you can.
But remember if you don’t stop this despotic law, Most of you in academia would leave off commenting on national issues in the media because you might lose your jobs. Your freedom of expression would be limited by PUB and the BNI would be picking up some of you of your actions against the council or the president of the land. Soon, TESCON and TEIN would decide your promotions, Head of Departments and who receives research allowance and should not. Party Foot soldiers would be the Human Resource managers to recruit NABCOrians and Lecturers.
But on the more serious note, PUB is a dangerous Education policy that will further compromise the already crumbling standards of Tertiary Education.
