The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) has cancelled the Presidential Evening Encounter with Nana Kwame Bediako, the founder and head of the New Force Movement, also known as Cheddar.
The cancellation comes when Cheddar withdrew from the encounter after being scheduled to appear on Wednesday, September 18.
Cheddar was scheduled to appear at 6 p.m., but he cancelled without explanation.
On Friday, September 13, the IEA issued timelines for its presidential evening encounters and debates, beginning with the leader of the New Force Movement on Wednesday and continuing with Alan Kyerematen on September 24.
The IEA also announced the dates for its first and second presidential debates: October 22 and November 19, 2024, respectively.
