The Pentecost University Tertiary Education Institutions Network (TEIN) of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said that Ghanaian Youths want jobs to better their lives and not a high-purchase mobile phone that they will buy on credit and be paying on installment basis.
According to the Pentecost University TEIN, If the Ghanaian youths have stable jobs, they will be able to buy any phone of their choice rather than acquiring some on credit and be paying in bits.
Their statement comes on the back of the flag bearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia who said his administration will build a credit score system where people can leverage to purchase mobile phones on credit and pay gradually.
Responding to the Vice president at a press briefing today, the women’s commissioner of the Pentecost University TEIN, Hon. Sonia Tamakloe said it is jobs that Ghanaians need and not phones.
