Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress ( NDC ), John Dramani Mahama , has expressed his concern over hitches being identified at some polling stations during the 2020 general elections.
In a press briefing after casting his vote at Bole consistuency in the Savanah region , the former President pointed out that some names have been removed and disenfranchised as a result. He further stated that one of his security aides and a lady he met at the polling station were unable to vote. ” These are some of the little things we kept complaining about. I mean the EC said it has eliminated 30,000 names without saying whose names they were.
So now we stand vindicated because these are issues we are warning the about, on that day , the verification machine might not work because they failed to deploy and test them during the exhibition.” he concluded.
