Foklex Awards 2021: Vision1 93.5 FM’s Nana Yaa Yeboah adjudged Best Female Newscaster of the Year

Vision1 93.5 FM’s Nana Yaa Yeboah has been adjudged Best Female Newscaster of the Year (Greater Accra) at this year’s Foklex Media Awards held at the National Theatre on Saturday, 24th April, 2021.

Nana Yaa Yeboah is a Ghanaian broadcast journalist and news presenter who currently works as an Akan Newscaster and the first Deputy Editor at Vision1 FM.

Nana Yaa Yeboah acquired her knowledge in media at OTEC School of Journalism and Communication Studies – Kumasi, and further studied psychology at the University of Cape Coast (2016)

She started her Journalism Journey at Rainbow Radio in Sefwi – Juaboso in the Western Region and then moved to Adehye FM – Bebiani in the Western North Region.

She later moved to Hi FM – Abetifi in Eastern Region from there moved to New Mercury – Kumasi in the Ashanti Region from there moved to Price FM – Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. However, she is currently an Akan Newscaster and the first Deputy Editor at Vision1 FM  – Accra.

Nana Yaa Yeboah saw off competition from the likes of Ohenewa Kese (Accra FM), Akosua High Tension (Atinka FM), Serwaa Akoto (Angel FM), Naa Atwei Oduro (Angel FM), Nana Yaa Konadu (Peace FM), Akua Boakyewaa Yiadom (Adom FM) AND Maame Yaa Afrah (Rainbow FM) to win the prestigious award on the night.

The awards gala saw lots of media personalities honored for excelling in their respective broadcasting fields.

Vision 1 FM’s News bulletin airs every Monday to Sunday.
